Description
I wrote this little poem when I was here where I took this photograph ...
through the glistening river reeds
in between the little waves
diamonds of sunlight sparkle
gentle winds embrace me
with scents of juniper and pine
beneath the whispering giants
the summer sings with tiny beings
mournful loons and chickadees
and dragonflies rest on my sleeve
every breath is sweet here
my paddle takes me here
where I can really breathe
this is where the poems grow
this 2nd beautiful poem, also inspired by this wonderful place, was written by calsixty I hope you'll visit his gallery! thank you dear friend for offering up your lovely poem!
I don't know why or how really
But this what I do
Just stand here all day, all night
Growing endlessly, reaching upward to the sky.
I don't know why or how really
But this what I do
Feet wet and head tossing in the wind
Quietly swaying to and fro
Not knowing how or who.
I don't know why or how really
But this what I do
One slender piece among them all
Part of a beautiful world I will never know.
incredibly nostalgic beautiful diamond masterpiece !!!!
